   Walsall v. Doncaster Rovers on April 9th, 1988, was deemed Centenary Day by Walsall Football Club and before the game around 80 former Saddlers were paraded before a crowd of 6,631. Players from as early as the 1930′s right up to the 1980′s were introduced to the supporters who warmly applauded their heroes from yesteryear.
